Kiki's Delivery Service (Majo no Takkyubin) is 1989 Studio Ghibli film written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki. It is the story of a young 13-year old girl, who is required, as a witch in training, to live independently for one year. Her only skill is her ability to fly on her broom. The movie follows her struggle to live on her own and endure and overcome the crisis of confidence that deprives her of the one skill that she has used to support herself - her flying.
