The opening sequence begins with this wonderful portrait of Shampoo with her hair blowing about. The image is done with colored markers.
I was fascinated with the construction of this image. Markers were used on the front of the cel layers to color them. On the A1 and B7 layers, paper cutouts corresponding to the outlines were taped to the back of the cel to provide the white background.
