This, of course, is in contrast to Ranma, who, in her female guise, has .been up all night sparring against Ryoga. Ranma is practicing to get ready to take Akane's place in the gymnastics competition with Kodachi Kuno's school after Akane sustained a leg injury while practicing with Ranma the previous evening.
