Ranma enters the dressing room in preparation for the ice skating competition. Mikado Sanzenin, the male half of the Golden Pair ice skating team, is already in the room preparing.
The cel of Ranma shown here is obscured by Mikado in the actual televised image. The screen capture below shows the actual time at which the cel appears and shows about a second later, when Ranma is less obscured.
This episode was originally planned as part of the first season. However, because of the title of episode 15, "The Abduction of P-chan", the completed episode was pulled just before its planned airing date because of a series of kidnappings that were in the news at the time. The entire 3-episode arc was then pulled and production episode 18 was then aired as broadcast episode 15. Although not yet completed, episodes 16 and 17, as part of the Golden Pair arc, were also pulled from production. Only later were episodes 16 and 17 completed and then broadcast in the retooled first Nettohen season (season 2). Episodes 15-17 were broadcast as Nettohen episodes 7 - 9. Interestingly, Viz chose to move these three episodes to the beginning of their second season release, entitled "Anything-Goes Martial Arts", which actually brings the episodes closer to their original intended broadcast order.
This is the reason that some first season unique features of the character designs, such as the two seams down the front of Ranma's red shirt at the outer ends the the clasps, appear in the three episodes of the second season.
