Prior to this cel, Shampoo has thrown her ball weapon at Ranma-chan in the Tendo backyard. The ball weapon spilt a hugh boulder which an off-screen Shampoo apparently lobed at Ranma-chan even earlier. This cel occurs as the camera shifts from Ranma-chan to Shampoo standing with her sword. In typical martial arts fashion, Shampoo does a few moves with the sword. In this cel, Shampoo is completing a forward swing of her sword as a threat to Ranma-chan.
This is a great, dynamic image of the Amazon warrior.
