I have to admit that, although I feel this image stands on its own merits in terms of the category Sorrow, I couldn't help but be influenced by the context of the image in the story. It's a truly sad moment when Ranma realizes that his efforts to meet his mother as his male self have all failed and that she will depart not recognizing her son.
