Akane is reacting angrily to Ranma's cutting remark as he walks away that she has "no looks". She is remebering her promise to Kasumi to stop fighting with boys. But she is thinking that Ranma's remarks are such that not even her mother would blame her for reacting. And, of course, she does, resulting in a trip to Dr. Tofu's for Ranma to tend his injuries at Akane's hands.
