Akane with log hair is visible in the diagonal band along with the lower part of Ranma's body.
This is interesting because, as the douga shows, the image drawn is just the diagonal band. This was not done as a full picture with a diagonal overlay to create a window showing just the diagonal portion of the image, even though the last shot of the ending sequence is a full screen image of what is only partially shown in this diagonal band. The reason this is only a diagonal band is that it is flashed over the background scrolling images, which are viewed through the areas not covered by the diagonal band.
