The Golden Pair skating team has just attacked Ranma and Akane. Azusa Shiratori has landed in front of Ranma while Akane has skated past. Here, Azusa puts her arm around a surprised Ranma.
Although this is from production episode 17, it was broadcast as episode 9 in the second season because the first season episodes 15-17 were pulled just before airing of episode 15 entitled "The Abduction of P-chan" due to a series of kidnappings that occurred at the time.
