As the horns indicate, Ryoga is possessed by the escaped Oni. Ryoga has his leg extended, tripping Ranma-chan as she rushes to stop Ryoga from entering the bathroom where Akane is soaking in the tub.
The cel layers are flipped with the B1 layer of Ranma-chan being beneath the A1 END layer of Ryoga, instead of the reverse, which is the way they were filmed. All cel layers are stuck to each other and to the background.
